MISTY CARPENTER - FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Misty’s Godfather from Gujarat, India fostered her love of the country and its culture from a young age. His life story, beginning with very modest roots, is a vivid example of success through opportunities in education. Long before YES!KW was founded as a non-profit, Misty was working with the same team of helpers to build water wells and support the people of the community. With her background in business, investing and public relations she strives to provide the best possible opportunities to kids with few options.

KATIE AUSTIN - BOARD TREASURER

Katie brings over 19 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. In addition, she has worked with non-profit organizations around the world  focusing on education.

JESSICA LOGAN - BOARD SECRETARY

Raised around education, Jessica has been passionate about helping kids succeed from day one. With a degree in Psychology and having worked in both specialized childcare and management for over a decade, she is an instrumental part of the YES!KW team.

STEPHANY SILLDORFF, DNP, MSN, ARNP, FNP,ANCC - BOARD MEDICAL ADVISOR

A doctor of Nursing Practice, Stephany brings not only academic but hands-on medical expertise. Her long history of advocating for women's healthcare and her global medical background are just some of the reasons she is a valued member of the board.

BROOKE CHENEY - BOARD MEMBER

A passionate educator, Brooke has nearly 10 years of experience working directly with children. A mastermind of organization, creative thinking and problem solving, she makes magic happen.

Doug Carpenter MBA, CPA-Inactive - Accounting and Finance

With forty plus years of experience in various financial and accounting roles in large corporations, Doug is an essential part of the team. He received his MBA from the University of Minnesota and then his CPA designation from that state. Although he is currently retired, his passion for helping others has him still managing the YES school’s financial needs.

Alysha Thompson - coordinator

Alysha has been a part of the YES team since she was in high school. After volunteering at our annual fundraisers, her dynamic passion for helping people has led her to a larger role with the YES! team. From event support to outreach, her can-do attitude is a force of positivity.

PAPARAO YELUCHURI - YES! SCHOOL DIRECTOR

Raised in extreme poverty in Kakinada India, Paparao was devoted to his studies and fortunate to be encourage and excell at school. Education completely changed his life. Offering other children this same opportunity as well as caring for the most vulnerable members of society became his life’s mission. Having managed many schools, a small hospital, orphanages and a water well digging program, he is a force of nature in the YES! School community. Paparao and his team inable YES!KW to streamline aid and make the most impact possible.

Ed, Alice, and Prasad Monk - Change Makers

The YES! School was the brainchild of Ed and Alice as they went through the adoption process of their son, Prasad. The school was born out of sheer determination, love of the children of India and a passion to help. They make the impossible possible.
